How Pocketself handles your personal information.
Information we process
Pocketself processes your Google account identifier, email address and profile information; journal text, photos, tags and moods; sync metadata; and Google Play subscription status. This information supports authentication, journal synchronization, account support and billing entitlements.
Storage and service providers
Journal data is stored locally on your device and in the configured Supabase project. Google processes sign-in and Play purchases under its own terms. Pocketself does not contain an advertising SDK and does not sell personal data.
Security
Data is protected in transit. Access to cloud records is restricted to the authenticated account. Cloud journal content is not end-to-end encrypted from the service operator.
Retention and your choices
Data is retained while your account exists and as required for security, billing, tax, dispute or legal obligations. You may export your journal, subject to your plan, or permanently delete your account and associated journal data in the app. See the account deletion page for instructions and the external request process.
